Default Replacement Remote Control for Teac TV

Hi - I hooked up an old Teac TV yesterday however I dot have (i.e. lost) the remote control for it. I have managed to get one of those Plustron Universal remotes programmed by doing an "auto search".

Only problem is that the TV is stuck with too much colour. The best I can get from the menu to bring up the "colour" bar. No button on the remote or TV lets me do the adjustment.

A search on the internet brings up nothing.

    Can anyone here help?

    Problem fixed.

I had another one of those "universal" remotes (different brand with learning function) that I had planned to use with the Dream.

After a successful auto search I have managed to now change the colour settings.

    Looks fine thanks

If all else fails, try a later Philips remote, as I found that the remote for our old CTM-686st worked quite well on the later Philips 29 inch unit. Incidentally, we still have the remote for our old TEAC, which had Teletext functions, (much better than the Teletext functions on the later Philips,) but the TEAC gave up the ghost, and we decided that it would be uneconomic to have it repaired, hence the purchase of the Philips. We still have the TEAC, but being in South Aust you may find it too difficult to collect either (or both), the remote, or the set as well. Let us know your location and maybe something could be worked out
