Default New TV shows full screen Dahua logo and not the cameras

    Hi all,

first time on here so apologies if there are threads on this but i couldn't find them.

A client replaced her TV and the logo on the grey background (that comes up when you start up the NVR) fills her screen and you cant get menu pop up or anything.

When you put a different monitor in, it works fine. I replaced the NVR (original one is 3+ years HDCVI) witha new IP system and got the same result.

Im assuming it's a resolution issue of the TV or NVR but i haven't managed to resolve it. Has anyone else experience this? thanks in advance for any help on this

As you suspect, it's likely a setting on the TV/monitor, especially when you use a different monitor it works OK.

Does the new screen input resolution match the video output specs of the NVR?

The NVR will have a setting where you can change the hdmi resolution.

Some TV's have issues with the HDMI output from a NVR.
