    Default Wireless link to AP

I have a wireless router and a spare modem that I would like to configure as an AP.
In principle, can I link wirelessly (Bridge?) from the router to the AP (rather than using an extender) or do I need to run an Ethernet cable?

Usually doable -- what brand/model is the modem?

FTR, that's the telstra marketing name ...there's 2 brands/models for this device....but it looks like they both offer bridge mode.

Seems they won't bridge IPv6 or VOIP (shouldn't matter), but otherwise it's straight forward ; consult your manual under 'bridge mode'
