Default How Long will W10 continue to run unactivated?

The thread title is pretty much the question.

As far as I know it will go indefinitely but with limitations:

Stuff like a watermark on open windows
    Popups
    No personalisation etc.

Annoying but not a deal breaker...I have got keys online that worked fine for about $10 or less in the past

If you have a working copy of W7 or 8 that is "legal" you can install W10 and it will activate. I have not needed to activate W10 on any of the machines that I use W10 on these days. (I usually run Linux and only need windows for iTunes)
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

I concur with lsemmens re auto activation. Never had an issue.....
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.
