Default connecting to panels via a virtual modem & PM45

    Hi there,

im looking at connecting to different panels remotely Bosch, Hills, tecoms, crow ect ect

i have found a couple of virtual modems that sound like they might do the trick, has anyone got a go to product for this application or any tips on setting this up?

    Cheers Andrew

    Default

I think most panel brands a fussy about which modem model will work with their panel. Even need a certain modem string command to work.

If monitored with a permaconn unit you may be able to use their software and virtual modem to connect.

Otherwise if they have panel brand IP modules that is the easiest way using panel brand software.

Otherwise a direct connect lead when onsite. I must have about 20 different panel direct leads.
