Grandkids R/C truck went up in smoke
a bit of smoke came out and that was it
I havent been able to find the board GS-534R so perhaps I can change the chip but not sure what it is
The top reads MD2 ???, bottom 19?????
Any Ideas what it is and or would it need programming
Thanks Thomo

Couldn't tell you ~ that's what a multimeter is for =) One would have to r/e the circuit a little to understand what they've done (p or n channel mosfet, estimated current handling, blabla..)
...likely the first step, would be removing the IC and checking the signal lines to the uPC (fwd/rev) are still ok (the dying chip may have destroyed the microcontroller outputs) ~ if they were good, then figure out what H-bridge chip they've used.
