There are 2 type of blindscan in ebs not all device support both modes
Just got EBSpro running and the moree feed signal dropped. Could still see pics on GT, meter reads 9.5. But EBSpro can't lock for some reason. Couldn't find any other transponders in that low range, but will continue playing around and see what it comes up with. Will try different LNBF also, cheers.
UPDATE: Think I haven't setup EBSpro correctly. The RF scan does what it should, but the blind scan isn't, so will have to figure out what to change.

ok thanks for heads up. Will order bigger dish anyway. Not sure whether 1.8 or 2.4. Do you think these feeds will end up back @ 152e?
Got these readings from 166, so will try the LNBF

Those readings are off by 100 your lnbf isnt on the correct l.o . Be sure that your TBS device is also running the correct updated drivers

EBSPro is known to report incorrect readings in the tabular scan report for most TBS devices except the Pro grade such as TBS6903 and TBS6983.
All of your Ch. 9 feed frequencies are showing as 0.00 dB whereas they should have a value.
If you want to get the correct SNR dB level right click the frequency in the table and choose the "Analyse" option from the drop down menu. In the "Analyser" tab you should see the SNR in dB dynamically fluctuating by +/- a fraction of a dB, this is the correct level.
Also, same comment as apsattv, your L.O. setting is out by 100 Mhz, probably from a previous LNB or another satellite configuration.

Cheers Pommie, yeah was confused by the zero SNR as when I clicked on, was still able to watch the channels. The LNB settings I had were incorrect also.
There should be another racing feed up now, but i dont have the details. Probably on one of the freqs mentioned above
169E 11301 H Sr 7500 DVB-S2 8PSK Fec 3/4
"Adhoc Enc 12_Mod 7"
NRL

Hey apsattv, if you are about and have time could you please scan 169e 11242H7500? Not expecting a race meeting today but could be something from NSW? Signal not locking for me, and bigger dish not quite arrived yet...
UPDATE: Reading thru previous posts it is same frequency that greyhounds used last week, so very likely that again.

Im interested too, hard to line up when you dont know if there is something there.
Apparently there is a constant tp h3e, anyone know what freq?
If you are in the footprint there areabout 15 signals running, all the time, a needle finder should have no issue pinging when moved to 169E.
The problem is some are using meters that need frequency info setup and all except the race feeds are ACM/VCM mode which some "digital" meters dont handle
Anyone checked 152E lately, not got a dish on it to confirm but its been on location a while, might have something on it?
Happy to try the 152e Pommie but don't know where to start as there's nothing on lyngsat?
aronpeace, suggest you start with a cheapie needle sat finder and get a ping west of Optus 10.
Cheers

Agreed, The Optus satellite at 156E is going to be really strong with lots of channels on it.
Peak the dish on 156E then facing the sky slowly turn the dish to the left and use some type of meter to detect any activity.
A meter will show the 156E signals diminish as you move off the satellite and pick up again as you approach 152E, subject to their being activity on it at the time.
