Apparently plants do talk, at least in the ultrasound frequencies. Whoda thunk ut! I wonder what they are saying about us......

Yeah I read that elsewhere too, the pops are very short, in the 10's of microsecond range, so difficult for a 'microphone' to pick up.
Was wondering if I could design a simple device to convert to audible beeps but acquiring the sensor may be difficult.
Standard(affordable) ultrasonic sensors operate around 40kHz in a tight band and will likely miss most of those very short pops.

Update: A deletion of features that work well and ain't broke but are deemed outdated in order to add things that are up to date and broken.
Compatibility: A word soon to be deleted from our dictionaries as it is outdated.
