Yes unfortunately it looks as though your smart card has failed and as the cards are married to the receiver they are not replaceable.
When you go into the CA menu system and see smart card information does it show any CHID information incl entitlements and chid expire date.
You could email VAST vast.administration@mysattv.com.au and request them to deactivate the card completely and then register the card again. This will wipe the card details from their database and when it gets activated will possibly overwrite MK details but this is a long shot.
