    Default Gamma ATR

If a card is missing the ATR, is the ATR replaceable. If yes, how is this done?
Can pm me if you dont want to post in forum.

    Cheers

You mean no ATR at all??? or certain software doesn't show ATR???
I have never heard of no ATR card unless it's dead, you are most likely talking about loaders not reporting ATR. If the card is in "EERPOM" mode it still replys to reset and the question in the case should be how to lock the card back.
Unless I am completely mistaken and whities do loose their ATR.

What is it in the Sataid loader that is screwing up the cards??? Is it unlocking them, and then not able to lock them up again?

I don't think the sataid loader unlocks cards, it just sends the file no matter what card you have. On the other hand cards get corrupted only if you don't uncheck "Update OS" option.
It is pretty obvious gamma OS upgrade can be done in a certain way only (from one version to another). When you attempt to upgrade OS in a wrong manner your card will get corrupted. That's what we see in many cases when people killed their cards playing with the loader. Unfortunately the loader was released to public (with enough warnings and explanations) a bit too soon and that was a classic example of people refusing to read manuals, instructions and fine prints. When the loader was released it was clearly specified it's purpose, it was written for experimental usage only. It is really a good program for experimenting with gam files for example, nothing else.

With OS Cards if you stuff the loader OS its dead. Kinda like using a word file for an os, just dont work.

If anyone know how to load an OS to an OS card from scratch, let us know.

Below is a link to an ATR Repair Kit. I don't know if it will work with your dead Gamma - never needed the program so I have not tried it out. The kit came from a card supplier in Europe.

I tested it on a dead public gamma a while ago and after running the program for 4 days got nothing.
