Default Western Australia state premier steps down.

Mark McGowan the Western Australia state premier has stepped down from the position and has also resigned his position as the Rockingham representative as well.

Good on Mark for being human and stepping up and literally stepping out of leading the state.

He sounds like he was good for the state, I do understand the pressures of the job. I'm not certain that I could handle it. They don't really ever get any time off nor does any decision that they make get accepted without having to justify it. Hell, they can hardly take a crap without it being questioned and reported. I wish him well for the future.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

My son, who lives in Perth, agrees.

My question is... What is about to hit the fan that he is up to his neck in ?

He's probably going to be sued personally by all the people from WA he locked out of the state for 2 years and those that lost their jobs due to mandates. Even if you had a valid medical reason you could not get an exemption, so no job, no pay, no house etc...

If you were out of WA when the border closed you could not come back for 2 years, not even if you isolated.

Bad luck if you owned a business in WA and were on a business trip...

Theres also his toadying visits to China. Some pollies here were calling him Mark McQuisling.
The fact that there's a highway to hell and a stairway to heaven says a lot about the anticipated traffic flow.
