I have seen the Starlink mobile antennas for campers etc.
But am looking for plans for any home brew type for my work truck as the starlink antenna is still too bulky.
Would something like a helical style antenna work
Any info would be great since Google just comes up with 40,000 links to commercial sites these days

OK I did ask this before I was given the new truck to drive. Turns out the roof hatch on my Actros is plastic and sits higher than the surrounding metal roof, so a "Roam" antenna may actually work fitted to the inside of the roof.
My concern is that the Company will probably not want to mount(and definitely won't let me do it) a larger antenna on the roof of the vehicle and then route cables through the roof to inside just so I can download porn at night when in western QLD areas with no phone service.
More investigation is needed
