Default IGO 8 and Navteq map

    Hi All,

Heres a question for our resident experts.

I have IGO8 running Sensis 2008 Maps, Great for city area's

I have Destinator 7 Running Navteq 2007 Maps, Great for Rural area's

Can I have IGO 8 running Navteq Maps(It is geared for Sensis maps)

    Thanks,and Regards.

Each GPS software manufacturers maps are unique to that manufacturer and cannot be converted.

So the answer is no .... unless you have the raw Navteq map data and their coding algorithm ... not.

Simply run both with selection via or similar.

I thought it was like that, unfortunately.

I do know some software Mio,for eg,used to use sensis mapping, and I believe have now gone to Navteq.

    I thought there may have been a company that uses Igo 8,with Navteq,rather than sensis,I do have Destinator 7,(Navteq) Mio 3.3 ( 2007Sensis),and Igo 8(2008 Sensis),selectable via a menu.

    Thanks for your advice.
