Default Tecom V8 not doing an upload to Titan

    G'Day All

Ive taken over a V8 system (which is quite large) and set up a local connection as it has a TS00091 serial board all went well and it transports alarms to Titan but...

When ever I try to do an upload from the panel to get the DB its hangs at %83 or 98% on the progress bar for some reason. Command que shows no errors or anything like that and clears OK to be able to try another upload but again these fail at the previously mentioned percentages.

It has a TS0882 memory expansion and I have the IUM box ticked in titan.

Has anyone seen this or know what might be causing this? Is it a setting in Titan or could the board or memory expansion chip be done for? Is there a way to pull the config out only without relying on the memory chip if its causing the issue?

    Any advice is appreciated.

Pretty sure you only want the IUM ticked for the 4M memory expansion.
    Try it without IUM ticked.

Hey Andrew, thanks for the reply, i did try it but seems to do the same hanging scenario at an upload attempt.

It does have a TS00091 serial interface board i was going to try the J15 method next but fear it could be the same outcome..

    Hi All

In an interesting twist i fired up my ancient XP machine that is running vintage Titan (TS9002-R01.08.04) and was able to upload the DB... Is the chipset too old for the current Titan i have (3.50.01) the chip on the challenger is V8-C-MFR V8.90

Anyone know whats going on here?

I remember the really old ones (can't remember versions) that you had to upload User and Installer seperately.

Now you have an upload sounds like time for a V10 upgrade.
