Default Pulling out a Tecom and installing Inner Range

    G'Day all

At the request of the customer they are leaning to inner range over Tecom. The only problem is I havnt used / been able to avoid (not saying its a bad system) IR since it was concept.

Im just getting to know the product again so was wanting to know the structure or experiences from a secuirty tech's point of view... User friendly, quirks or traps for young players etc.

    - Does it have configuration software (like Titan) that allows you to connect to any panel to configure set up doors etc, or is everyone using a different way to connect?
    - Is the $1600 training kit worth buying, and does it come with configuration software? (Tried calling IR and rung out..)
    - How do they compare to Tecom I can see they are a similar product with doors and alarm software etc.
    - Hows their tech support line?
    - Anything else worth mentoning.

Any advise is appreciated as im guessing ill be re-learning another new system from scratch hence the question about the training kit.

    How big is the system?
If its not very big you could go to Inception instead of Integriti, which is fine for most sites.
We use Inception most places except schools etc where they spec Integriti.
Definately a good idea to get the training kit and play with it if Integriti.
I think the training kit includes the basic course which will teach you most things you need, and gives you the Installer version software.
Tech support is OK, but a bit slow at times and I think for most things you need to be an acreddited installer. I find email is best and they get back fairly quickly, imstead of waiting on the phone for ages.
Probably more versatile than Tecom and can be bigger and constantly new versions and features being added.
