    Default Buffing

Speedtest . net showing 92 Mbs and still getting buffing issues, picture freezing become unwatchable. so you go through the processes of elimination to find the cause.

    - The ISP Optus says your speed test is within the range of what you pay for. No issues at their end.
    - Do a speed test and change the server to say Orange Amman in Jordan. showing 11 Mbs still good enough for buffing free viewing.

Then make a Hotspot on my 4G, 5 year old Huawei... provider Optus . Connect the box to my phone by WiFi and presto all is good no buffing HD and UHD all good.
and so its not the hardware issue, Not IP provider issue. What is it ?

Could be bandwidth issue where too many people are using the service at the same time, however, I'd have thought that Speedtest would have reflected that. Considering I am on a wireless network with satellite uplink, 44Mps works well for me. It could be something as simple as cookies. Have you tried clearing those and, changing browser? You could try a power refresh of all devices in the chain, too.
I'm out of my mind, but feel free to leave a message...

Its an Android device. No buffing on YouTube... someone suggested that some ISP's have implemented some kind of bandwidth restrictor as soon as you access offshore IP providers. The mobile net seems to be on different infrastructure.

Is there a way to change the DNS on android device ?

yes, try changing dns in network settings on android device or try a vpn

some providers use cgnat, which can upset iptv servers....

you can opt out of it on some providers, just tell them you are using remote access software

You mean ISP use same IP address for several clients ? When you call the support center (philippines)_ . they dont know anything about CGNAT. A friend had same buffing issue with Vodafone, he change to TPG and no issue since.

The meaning is very clear. Time to get back to the buffering issue.

Change the DNS or use a VPN like Hoe said. It might help with the buffering. Test using the CloudFlare dns 1.1.1.1 or one.one.one.one in the private DNS on android.

When changing DNS 1.1.1.1 does it need static IP ?

Looks like I am not the only one having issue with Optus... Morning viewing gerate.. evening viewing unwatchable, freezing all the time... Speed test 100 Mbps. Netflix and YouTube OK. try watch. European streams is all freezing and buffering. Connect my box at the neighbor's place (TPG) and all is good. Change of DNS 1111 didn't improve things. Looks like Optus has reduced the bandwidth on its offshore gateway.

I watched the afl grand final in 1080p via a UK stream, no ads and no annoying overlays.

Maybe 2 slight glitches over the whole telecast. I'm with telstra fttn here.

Are U connected by wifi with your box? Maybe try via ethernet?
Long ago I had similar problems with buffering using a firstick and people suggested getting a ethernet adaptor for it. All good after that.

Hard wired cat 6 or Wifi no relief. It's an issue with Optus's NBN overseas gateway, just about any Optus streaming client is complaining.
    TPG modem expected tomorrow.

I have telstra 5g and is running atm at 355 mbps on my Samsung S22 phone . My Telstra modem is running consistantly at 75 to 100 mbps so I guess there is some throttling. However when I connect thru the Telstra 5G modem and Surfshark VPN the speed was dropping to between 5 and 15 MBPS. I had a 3 day argument withTelstra howevfer they use Amazon Web Services as the carrier and as we know AWS finds the VPN IP's in its database and throttles the feed .
I convinced Telstra this was a restraint of trade under the Trade Practices Act and they got me to change my DNS and now it is rumming between 45 and 75 with the VPN on.
    Rampant
My problem is finding an Australian channel Bouquet which doesnt buffer under any conditions .
I have tried 6 IPTV Services this week and all have the problem without the VPN on.
    Any Thoughts ??
