I don't watch TV, so I really don't care, but for the sake of the thread...

Seriously? Doesn't the federal government have more important problems that need fixing before sticking their noses into crap like this?

I swear there must be a room full of fresh-out-of-college and out-to-change-the-world "experts" sitting around somewhere thinking up new ways to waste the tax-payers money, as if paying their salary wasn't already waste enough!

I see this as sensationalist BS scare-factor advertisement written by non-FTA streaming providers.
I'm sure the advertisement written by FTA providers would be directly opposite.

All I see this doing, is the proposal to have FTA Apps at the top of the screen/list to make it easier to locate when viewing your favourite SmartTV/Chromecast/...etc. streaming options.

The thing that interests me, is the reform agenda item to curb gambling advertising.
Gambling advertising is way out of control and is ruining the viewing pleasure.
Almost 1-3 adds in each add break are related to gambling during major sporting events. F$$$ing ridiculous.

I'm up for change where it warrants it
