Major power failure on Intelsat 19 that they are trying to fix.

They are even thinking of moving Horizons 3e over.

Or if that fails there might be going to be a lot of dish alignments happening to a different satellite....

Mysat already has their mysatgo online stream service..

Tvplus is the problem...172E would be better home for it

also the power issues started from when it went up.. its always been adjusted to cope with its flakey power on the KU side

Doesn't help all the Italian, Greek etc old ladies I have installed dishes for that don't have internet.

I think at this point in time TV Plus are considering moving satellites. Will know more next week.

Given that 12606 H SR30000 (Telstra) and Vertical Ch9 are unaffected, the "Major Power Failure" story resurrected from a reminds me of UBI's demise. To me, it looks more like a purge of non-payers. Nowadays the technical challenge of "Old People" No Internet story is BS. All landlines are now VOIP meaning their phone is connected to an internet modem, WiFi User Name and Password on the bottom of the modem. If they don't have a landline they always have a mobile phone, IPTV runs perfectly connected to Hotspot. If they have a Smart TV there're M3U Apps providing access to thousands of live channels from any country in the world. Older TV requires an Android TV box. The costs are equal to or less than satellite hardware and subscription.

As of late the Mysat's website advises their clients to download an App for streaming viewing of Mysat's channels, access is free. For viewing on TV requires a late model TV running Android or Google TV (Sony, TCL some Toshiba, ECO (Big W) All other TV's require Android TV Box version 9 and higher.

Yes because it was FTA for a long time and because of this just about no paid for there subscription.
Boulas TARBS and re born UBI Failed for once again interference of other. TARBS Failed because the Encryption system was easy to hack but mainly when the "Others" Found out that TARBS was about to get a English Channel package mainly the Center of USA The "other without found a way to get rids of them by use the card of pre-emptiveTransponders so Mike Boulas was a tight arse and used NON Pre-emptive transponder so when SKY NZ had trouble with there pre-emptive transponder they kick TARBS OFF to use their Transponders but funny the is the other transponder found a fix and they were ok days later and since TARBS had no income coming it TARBS FAILED. Once Again Interfering buy others and poor encryption was the main reason why they Failed.

12606 H SR 30'000 Still there as before... And so for all the tech's where the first thought is of hardware malfunction, just tune to 12606 to make the client understand.

The encryption box (scrambler) at the operators headend is connected to and controlled by Irdeto via the net. When the operator fail to pay licence fee. at their discretion, Irdeto can suspend the encryption.

Mysat currently streaming for free. App can be downloaded from their website. Italian RAI Int'l and Portuguese RTP still on Asiasat 5, with a decent 5G filter LNB, 8 out of 10 sites work OK.
Mysat and TVplus audience will wait another week or two. if service doesn't resume they will make the move to IPtv.
