WoW the bird is just about dead, All is left now is Sky NZ and when the panic button are hit they will be gone from there so what you have stated the lot of them will be on Optus D3.

I]ve heard last night that Measat3a has a large signal drop off past northern NSW. So quite likely that you might be outside of the actual footprint. Thats why 172E is use as well.

Yes as you know I have two dishes on D2, separated 4 cable but the same results, I have measured the both at the DISH level, I have measured the both in my Sat TV Room, and measured the both in the Computer Room. You wonder why my 1.2M Dish does not get a wiff of Measat but the 2.4M Gets a wiff and some days it locks on but other days it a no go for Measat 3A. WHAT A DISASTER FOR OPTUS Who is responsible for this mess. Yes 172 Deg ok for me.

So in General Measat does not have a good footprint to cover Australia. It will be great to see the footprint but likely we wont see it

You can look at the old footprints here

and picture them moved over Australia in the same pattern, i think they can tweak them south, north / east west but they are fixed so can't be tweaked very much.

They are very high eirp though.

Please still do the ebs blindscan so your signals that you still get can be compared

Also in EBS Pro RF scan the beacons for Measat3a are 12200H, 12200V you should at least be able to detect it in RF spectrum

Yes Measat has strong power but not for me in Brisbane.
I will keep a eye on Optus D2 and do a RF for the first time on Measat 3. Busy today and most on Friday but I have a free Saturday and Sunday to test

I have two RF scans on the 2.4M Dish. The first one is Optus D2 at 160 Deg E after I peaked the dish in last week and the second is for Measat 3A at 160 deg WHERE I THINK THE SKEW IS SET as I found Freq 12316V (Cant load it) on this Skew position. Also Channel 7 Mux is on Optus again

Optus D2 (Take note where I think the Beacon is)

Measat 3A (Take note where I think the Beacon the Beacon is)

NOTHING at all on D2, tried 3 times. Yesterday I had late Channel 7 Mux Tried Optus D3/10, Intelsat 19Ku, Intelsat 19 CBand, Eutelsat 172 Ku, band ALL was good but Optus D2 is dead for me and when it comes to Measat 3A I say nothing. I will try like yesterday to see if I can get video on that one and only transponders but I say nothing.

    One Transponder

    OK.
Tell me what in the hell is going on? Know doubt you must know more than the average Joe Blow. Mr apsattv. please be more specific, remember after my series of strokes my brain is wired different so when I see "Please scan again" it confuses me. I see Please scan again Optus D2 or Measat 3A or the Both. Or you say "Please scan again" a Normal scan or a RF Scan or both. Again be more specific EBS pro normal scan or RF Scan or both for Optus D2 or Measat 3A or Both.
When you say channel7 mux is back I say you mean back on Optus D2. Again My Brain think a bottle is half empty, most will say half full. Most people like me are reading the daily news paper UPSIDE DOWN but I dont want to go to that level, YET.

I think the 7 Mux is still there and can be seen using EBS Pro RF Scan but you need a 6M dish to get it. RF is -54.49dBm

No, it goes off so they can use 12634v 12643v 12651v for feeds. low power as all are using slots on the same t.p
