Default Using RG-11 not RG-6 and four of them

    I DON'T GIVE UP!!!!!!!

As most of the Satellite hobbyist know I have issue switching via DiSEqC from one Sat to another Sat in computer room so I made a Device a Manual device to switch Satellites.

Made this. It works 100% until I added Eutelsat 172B that uses a Universal LNB Frequencies.

It work OK, I was happy Until I added Eutelsat 172B in the Mix and again I was having issues on 172 when I would get ABC but not SBS in my computer room but in the TV room the V8X cheap Chinese box I get the both of them with no issues using the same freq (11044V). Now what I found out if I bare the braiding back to far "eg" peal the braiding back to far like the photo below I will have issues ON UNIVERSAL LNBF (here we go again). I have NO issues using 10700 lNB's so what I tried to do is do the same as below but give no more than 10,12 mm where I stripped the braiding back but It was just about impossible to do this but I did it but the trouble is the total 9 cables behind the Rotary Switch was too STIFF to a point that It broke, Snapped a connection behind the Rotary switch when I added it to its black box. Yes It did happen twice and after this I took a hammer to it with frustration.

Work ok until I got to position 7 and 8, Somewhere they were bridge inside the rotary Switch. In my workshop room they tested ok but in the TV room in its black box it was no good because I heard some SNAP when i tightened the lock ring up..

    Using RG-11
What I have decide to do now whist I pull my hear out.

Since I have TBS 6904SE Satellite card in my main computer that has 4 Ports, only using 2 ATM, (one for CBAND one for Ku band), 4 inputs I want to run 4 RG-11 not RG-6 because of the Distance from the Satellite TV Room to the computer room (taken account going across the tv room,, up the wall through the roof down the wall in the computer room then into the computer room to the computer I say it about its around 35 mtrs not counting the run going to the DISH so What I want to use is 4X RG-11 from the TBS 6904SE in the computer to the TV room where one for each of the Multi switches . Now behind the TV room cabinet I have used RG-11 before but not in the Computer room as I think considering I have to pull the computer table IN and OUT to do things now and then the strain in this will break the connections on the TBS 6904SE card, Remember we are talking about 4 RG-11 screwed on the back of the Sat card.
Behind the cabinet the RG-11 will be cable tied but the computer room where the computer is on its table about 750MM above the floor I have concern that the 4 RG-11 will break something mainly the Expensive 6904 4 port Sat card.
The Question I would like to ask is.
Can I stop the 4 x RG-11 underneath the Computer with other cables close to the floor uses a RG-11 Connector then use a inline "F" Connector and change to more flexible RG-6 because the RG-6 has to be more forgiving compared the stiffer RG-11
Yes not long ago I got from ebay a 305M sealed roll of RG-11 for $100 so since one leg is 35 mtrs X 4 it will be 140 mtrs.

The Behind the cabinet is ok, The cables going through the wall is cables going to the Computer room ONLY, Again in the Sat TV room all RG-11 cable will cable tied to others then to the Spaun Multi Switch behind the cabinet. Yes by having 4 X RG-11 that means I will have only 1 CBAND and 3 KU band cable but I can live with that as the Distance with RG-6 and the extra connections with that rotary switch was the issue so by using RG-6 75 ohm from the sat card then a one mtr later it changes to RG-11 75 ohm to the sat tv room directly to the Multi switch it should be a plus.

Behind the Cabinet. Have two multi switches wired with RG-11 ( the bottom two).

I will get to the bottom of this with no extra connections and going from A to B it has to be better. I don't give up easier. I will test next week using TBS 6904SE as I will run on the floor my test RG-6 cable to test not used port 2 and 3 on the card.
Yes so far using 0 and 1 tuner.

That good. Last night I was thinking of making a bracket out of Bunnings flat aluminum , make it about 50mm wider than the computer so I can screw it to the table with a support gusset where the compute lives and make it that way that when one R G-11 cable goes down I cable tie it with a good cable tie. do this 4 time for 4 cables. The only thing that will stop me doing this is the radius of the RG 11 because it lots stiffer then the RG-6. Yes the rear of the computer is 150MM from the wall and this RG-11 quad shield you can possible make it go 90 degrees to the floor around 150MM. Took a Sample 500MM to test. If the bracket method fails I use use RG-6 for the last metre for ease only on the computer room. The TV end is ok. got short and long RG-11 and see whats best for me.
On the timber spool where the 305 m live had a sticker Made is USA....WARNING Risk of Cancer, Hummmm what wire? After I took of 0.5 of a meter I notice some Glue stuff coming out under the black sheaf, Hummmm what gives? Maybe poison for rats.
