after market xbox 360 power supplys ?
ive seen some home made 360 power supplys such as this , just wondering if anyone makes and sells aftermarket 360 powersupplys as the microsoft ones are a pain and too expensive to get ahold of.

search ebay for "XBOX 360 ENERGYZER" from the uk
the problem with that type is that it only takes the +12V from the 20 pin molex connector which usually ain't thick enough for the required 17 amps the 360 draws
i made my own up by using the 360 power supply plug from a cheap 360 aftermarket cooler, a 20 pin molex socket from an old motherboard and 2 4 pin molex sockets (+12v, gnd, gnd, +5v) from an ATX power splitter cable
works fine as long as you get a PC ATX supply that can handle the constant current draw of the +12 supply which is why i used plugs and sockets so its easier to swap power supplies
regards...
