WINDOWS 11 Not recognizing Kindle

I am on my 4 th Kindle and have always been able to transfer my files from my PC or Laptop simply by plugging in the Kindle to either via USB to USBA .
Now the Kindle will charge from the cable but the PC or Laptop will not recognize the Kindle .
The plug in does net raise any notification on the screen or show up in the directory.
Is there some new win 11 blocking of The kindle ?? I have tried two other kindles and it is the same result
