    Default Optus D1 @ 152 Deg

Optus D1 @ 152 Deg as you know its inclined and at the Moment its inclined at 1.7Deg so what does the average person do to hook on this satellite that's having more feeds by the day. Inclined orbit trackers for a Ku dish? or just position it to suit the time you want to watch and that it. I think 1.7 is wobbling to far to keep the dish in one position on a 1.2m offset dish, what do you think.

Regarding D1 at 152 deg inclined and its 1.7 deg out of wack so when you set it to any transponder you will lose it in 1 or 2 hours, is this correct with Ku Band. Not sure with ku Band but I remember the old days with cband you will lose the picture (analogue) in 30 odd minutes after you peak it in.
    Thanks

The signals from it are still strong. 14+dB as to how quick u lose it, That will depend how large the dish is, bigger dish it will drop off faster. a 60 will hold it longer due to dish beamwidth

So a 60CM dish will hang on for 3 hours until it drops off and a 1.2M will last only around 1 hour or so. When you say LARGE is large 1.2 1.5 2.0 or 3.0M or 90cm to 1.5M Do you think anyone will bother to buy if you can a Ku Trackers for such a small Dish.
In the Old days back in 1998 days I had a Seatel Auto Tracker cost $$$$$ for my CBand 4.2M Dish Yes the old days of tracking Intelsats on 174 and 180 that had a big inclination not only the sats went up and down they went east and west when they were wobbling (Like figure 8).
