ive got jaipur loaded in my octagon 518
hi jonc, this is david from nsw. i used to receive upto 8 channels on this satellite originally ,they were rta kabul etc, at the moment ive only got tv jaipur on 3940v 6250 fec 3/4, theres 2 channels there ,im not sure why but isnt there an asian beam on insat3 a then alot changed to the indian beam we lost about 7 channels less that we had such as rta kabul etc.when there services went from analog to digital it made it hard to bcz analog we picked up alot here on a 12 foot mesh dish here in nsw, its the same as palapa c2 verticals thats were in analog we could get them all the weakest was tv 3 malaysia and rtm1 which were on analog then they migrated to measat1 many years ago in analog. when the vert servs on palapa went to mpeg 2 we lost anteve, tpi, indosiar etc the only 1 we still get in the v polarity on c2 is tpi on 4184v and thats rare these days ,i also think it depends on what type of low threshold receiver youve got ok, thanks hamguy2 nsw australia .
