You can do either, or all. Just depends what it is you are trying to do.

You can do either, or all. Just depends what it is you are trying to do.
yeh thanks,
i imagine the
1st thing will be to put the latest software on the ipbox, presumably via rs232
2nd sending the keys
or possibly
2nd installing such as mgcamd or whichever is best then
3rd the keys
AM I CORRECT IN THINKING THIS
any info will be most appreciated
thanks jud
Yep
Although once again, it all depends on what it is your are trying to do? What are these keys? Keys for what?
When your IP9000 arrives, open the box and pull out the contents. There will be a little booklet in there called a "User Manual".
Give it a read, it has step by step instructions on how to connect to your new IP9000 STB.
Or if you just can't wait that long, their web site has a downloadable "User Manual" and all other required loaders etc.
The keys
these are used with my humax 5400 this is the file that changes every other day (yeh yeh nudge nudge ) know what i mean.
so i guess 9000 will be autoupdating etc.
Thanks m8 i do appreciate it . i just wanna learn enough before i get the box
thanks again
You will be doing lots of learning jud, thats for sure
Good Luck with a great box
It would pay for you to do some reading on the Dreambox at any forum or here. I think you will find a lot of similarities
