looking for a beta max video player for a mate. Anyone got access to one?

I got access to one ,been stored away for years.....maybe needs new belts .
What are you trying to do?

he wants to transfer tape to Disc. Got abot 50 tapes, i think they are home movies of his kids etc.

I have one, all set up for just this purpose, in my studio. I can pretty much go from any format to any format.
Only drawback is you'd need to send the tapes over here for me to do 'em.

Might be an option if you can't find anyone local.
