[Questions] Considering modding my xbox.

Just have a few questions before i mod an xbox360.

1) Which mod allows you to connect to xbox360?
2) Can you play a copied game on xbox live?
3) Will the new upgrade interfere with firmware?
4) Will i get RROD every few minutes?
5) Would you recommend it?
6) i have a 20gig harddrive now, should i upgrade it?
7) If you can connect to xbox live, do you have to wait 3 days before you can play?
8) Anyother infomation that you think should be shared.

all of them do bar some modchips, youll want the latest version of iextreme.

2) Can you play a copied game on xbox live?
yep, iextreme firmware makes the burnt games undetectable on xbox live so no bannings

3) Will the new upgrade interfere with firmware?
people have installed the leaked version with modded firmware and backups still work but we have yet to see what happens on the 19th when they all connect too live....probably nothing.

4) Will i get RROD every few minutes?
hardware related, flashing firmware doesnt effect weather your xbox will or wont rrod.

5) Would you recommend it?
i would but id also recommend still purchasing the games that are worth it.

6) i have a 20gig harddrive now, should i upgrade it?
if you want too install your games on the hard drive definately.

7) If you can connect to xbox live, do you have to wait 3 days before you can play?
no, where did you hear that and what was the reason for waiting 3 days?


8) Anyother infomation that you think should be shared.

When asking the modderer, what should i ask for?
i'm guessing iExtreme, any rough guesses on how much this might cost?
Can it be done by yourself easily?
How long will it take to do this? for a modderer?

the full process takes about 30 minutes or less if youve done it a couple of times before, you can do it yourself if you have a desktop with an nforce 4 chipset or a via6241 pic sata card (other chipsets may work ive only used the 2 listed).
and i guess youd have to ask whoever is modding your 360 what they charge... as far as price goes.

Be aware that there are differnet drives in the 360's, so if you purchased one recently, it will have a Lite-On that cant be flashed, but can extrac the key from it & dump/spoof it to a replaceemnt drive, hence will be dearer than a 360 that has say a Ms25/28/HLG0047 etc.

highly recommend getting 120GB HD run games off HD .. much quiker loads and won't get read errors either ..

jeez havent read anything into x360s in over a year, so its practically like xbox1 easy as to copy to hdh and play ? is 120gig the limit or is it more? thanks
