Wonder where the extra bandwidth for ABC 3 will come from once
    it's running?

They have plenty of bandwidth to do ABC3 although they are still trying to scrape up the cash to run it and buy/make programs for it.

Thanks for the heads up, I only watch one show on ABC2 (good game), and with this change I'll need to update my channel selectors.

Reread, hmm when I changed channel on Saturday, ABC2 is still on 21 for my PVR.

same thing happened on my TEAC SD STB, I had to reset numbering, you'll need to delete all channels and rescan.

Hmm mine is still showing ABC2 on channel 21. Habit will keep it that way. No problem watching Good Game tonight apart from the damn boxy logo in the corner.

Who ever though beige is a good colour should be ............ (insert bad action here).

did you delete "all" channels then do a full automatic rescan?

Nahh, I didn't change my channels. But when Ten started up the TenHD I was using Channel 1 as standard 10, and that because TenHD by itself.

Deleting the channels and rescanning on my PVR is a bit of a bitch because I have to go back and delete all the "multiples" and HD channels because the GF bitches about them!

ok, here's a suggestion, just delete the ABC Channels, then do a manual rescan for your ABC Frequency.

Actually they do not have plenty of bandwidth at all, currently the transponder is at max, to achieve this ABC 2 has had to be compressed and ABC HD is limited to 720P as opposed to 1080i so at present the 3 services at 720P, 576i, and compressed 576i, plus the 2 radio feeds are all that is possible without increased bandwidth or some change to these existing signals.
    Common sense isn't !!!
