Default different plug on non HDMI & HDMI 360 box

Why is it that the HDMI 360 box has a different power plug than a non HDMI 360 box?
The HDIM 360 power plug will not fit into a non HDMI 360 but a non HDMI 360 will go into a HDMI 360 box; pin outs have the same voltage between the two plugs

because the HDMI power supply is lower voltage therefor not able too supply enough juice too a non hdmi 360, go visa versa and its capable of supplying more than needed.

It would have to be current ratings...more power drawen = more current draw.
