PS3 not working on rear projection tv

Hi Guys,
My Japanese NTSC PS3 is not working on my rear projection tv.
The colors are faded and the image moves from left to right constantly.

It's plugged in via component and works fine on my LCD upstairs.

Just wondering if its a ps3 setting or my tv is incompatible

set it up in the setting menu for your tv

or do this

turn it off so theres a red light on the ps3
then hold the power button to reset it

then tweak your graphics settings to best suit your tv
