To be honest novica I can't even remember what the Sif team image was like lol
I am biased towards Jade as I have it on a couple of DM500's, a mutant and a 400S.

Mate, how stable is jade on 200s? Did you try Gem 4.4/4.6 yet? I am currently on SIFTeam 1.9.2 and is very stable. Only down side- can't stream ALJ eng off C1.

Very stable. I haven't experienced any issues at all.
I'm not touching Gemini ever again.

Not sure but I don't think anyone has adapted Jade to run on a 250 gado.
Isn't the 250 the same as the 200 with a Hard drive fitted?
Maybe the 200 Mutant image might work on the 250?
Might pay to ask that question here
buglitter is probably the guy that would know.
If you don't want to sign up there, I can ask the question for you. Just let me know.
Denktenk doesn't list any 250 specific Jade images either

Many users reported loss of channel list after every restart with PLi Jade. Did you experience this at all? Is this a serial all image?

200s image may work in 250! Remember there are some differences between them, 250 does take a HDD but lacks UHF modulator and has 64MB memory. Difference in memory means a different boot loader, sometimes the boot loader is common for 32 and 64 MB versions.

I don't find losing a channel list such a big issue.
    Just scan them in again.

    Sorry misread your post.
No, don't have any problems with losing channel list on switching on and off.

    Hi weirdo,

Are you using CCcam on it? If so, what version?

I'm running PLI Jade with CCcam 2.11 on a DM600, sharing to a 400S (neumo 2.13.6) with CCcam 1.07. Loaded Jade onto an old 200S, but haven't got pics yet (tried both 2.11 & 1.07), but was only daisy chaining off the DM sat connection. I could see the 200S as a client on the DM CCcam web interface.

I'm looking to put the 200 in a spare room, & have to get cable into it, so it will probably wait until then to sort it all out.

I've got it working sort of. I'm now using the 200S with CCcam2.04 as the server. When I had the DM600 serving & my daughter was streaming from it, we would get freezes on the 400S client (missed ECMs?) - I haven't seen them yet serving from the 200.

I don't know if the F**tel card is updating with this setup, but will order Box Office in the next few days to check.

The problem is when the 200 restarts, I have to rescan the satellite to get pics - it's ok on the clients though. Apart from that it's looking good.

The 400S freezing is probably more likely caused by that version of CCcam. You said in your previous post you were using 1.07 but I don't think that exists so more than likely it's version 1.71.
Try a newer version of CCcam on the 400S.
Not sure about it keeping a fox card updated as I don't have one. Maybe someone else can advise you.
Strange you have to rescan the sat to get pics, I don't have that problem at all with mine. Do you have to rescan because the channels have disappeared?

I'm really getting old - the version on the 400S is 1.7.0. I'm running neumo 2.13.6 on it & I don't think anything over 2.0 is supported. On the 200S I still see the channels, but no pics until a rescan. If I can't get round it, I'll just run a startup script to rescan on boot up.
