i started on the last remnant tonight which is pretty load intensive before the update, as soon as i got the update i installed it and it makes the experience so much better, load times cut too about a third i would say.
would vary game too game but for loading intensive games it makes one hell of a difference.

I have found on gears of war 2. the load times are greatly reduced. no more stuttering of speach or nasty wait to re-load after death.

Don't judge the performance off of Halo3. Apparently it's the one game that doesn't benefit from installing to the HDD.

I'd say it is worth the time in upgrading your HDD.

yeh it works with backups if your firmware is flashed, or did you mean on a non modded console?

Is it a bug in the new dashboard or something is not right with my box?
When I try to sign in a message pops up saying the live rules have changed and I have to accept them. Then I have two options: View these terms or cancel. When I select view the terms I expect to see their blurb with accept button somewhere there. Nothing of it happens. It just sits there forever. Pressing Back button, closes this pop up screen and you see yourself logged in. If you try to log in again later on, the same repeats. It doesn't give me options to accept new rules and save the acceptance.

That happened to me too. I logged into my account on XBOX.com and accepted the terms there which fixed on my 360.

Huh, I am completely lost at their site. Can you please give me some pointers for their terms acceptance form?

Never mind, the problem was their server was busy and I wasn't given the opportunity to see these new terms acceptance form. Logged in later and all was sweet.
