Mine went down last night too.
Has been working for years and last night I was watching ABC WA on C1 but motored dish to D1 to watch HD wide screen. When I came back to C1 Aurora was gone.
I used a recent backup LMedit file but didnt work so I erased.
Now I cant get the thing going again. I need a memory refreshner.
I am using Infinity USB Unlimited.
I load GHOST_SI.HEX to the PIC and emerald.hex to the Ext EEprom.
I am thinking the bootlaoder is automatically loaded by the Infinity. Maybe not.
I have 16f877v3_bootloader.hex but where shall I write this?
Any help will be great, but I will keep trying tonight till I ghet it going again.

Luckily my Goldie is still OK.

Just got it going, it took me 30 mins to do the 5min job.
A little logical thinking and loading pic & ext EEprom separatley instead of both at once seemed to do the trick.
Then in LMedit saved details of working Goldie, changed to Silver, cleared seca keys and write to silver.
Back in Sat box and pictures came in 5 secs.

That is no good. It means card is not prepared properly.(hex files)
    Keep trying.

    Before reprograming

Try turning the Box off and on again with the card in . I mean off at the power point or power switch on the box not stand by . And leave alone for an hour when on again on an aurora station.

PS Also give the contacts a clean first.

Had both an Emerald and Silver go down last night .
It is not the first time either , happens sporadically after watching aljezerra for a while.

Goldies with the same details appear to be unaffected.

Seems the Prov00 coco and Provid get over written and something is done to the Hex file as just replacing the details does not fix them.

I have to reload the whole thing from scratch.

My silver has gone too! Had to reprogram it a couple of months back as well. I thought it was just getting old. Goldies havn't missed a beat.
