Never played with/on Live, not sure if i will, but playing backups is pretty much a must
if its a liteon drive you have too swap it out.
What do you reckon it would cost to get keys and swap for another drive
ive seen people doing it for around $150, if you look on ebay ppl advertise services or you can ask in the trading forum.
- $135

or do a little reading and save some $$$$.
I just ripped the key from my 8th liteon drive tonight. go to red box mods
and get yourself the xtractor360 and use dvdkey32, you also need a
serial cable. buy a ms28 off ebay for $60 delivered and that's it.
All up cost is $130 and you keep the hardware if and when you need
to do it again. it's not that hard.
When replacing the DVD Drive: It's only recommended to use the BenQ drive at this stage, using other drives gives a very high possibility of getting banned if you go on Xbox Live, obviously any drive can get you banned but the Toshiba-Samsung and Hitachi-LG drives will have a far higher possibility to be banned. A special firmware for TS and HL has to be released to deal with some security sector (SS) issue when spoofing, there are some that already been banned
ive seen em on ebay, they dont pop up as much as the samsungs tho
just wait till Xmas time and the liteon v1.5 f/w will be released =]
We hope ,wouldnt be holding my breath
