    Nice find Z80
    I was going to import a similar item 6 or 7 years.
    The problem was that they where for uk plates and stupidly big and glass.
    These ones would do nicely as they can be cut to suit.
    You only need a thumb button somewhere, the direct gps thing would get you in trouble sooner than later.
    Good for the tol* roads.

    Ha, good find Zed.

    Years ago a photographer who drove an old Sigma chrome plated the large numberplate recess and apparently when the camera flash went off the refection blured the image.

    Not sure if it was an urban myth though.

    You can make them out of fibreglass, change one or two letters.
    Have a perspex number plate cover with a hole behind it for the rotatable drum with two plates on it.
    I have seen this done.
    Its all too easy.

    I wonder if the glass is frosted in its normal state or in the energised state, can just imagine it now, people installing it in their bathrooms then all of a sudden it fails...
