foxelIQ on cable in adelaide here and it does that, i got a quick dropout and a poor signal message last night aswell i allmost thought it was going too say ....buffering.
Is it just me or is the Foxtel EPG up the 5hit at the moment (or for the past 6 weeks).
Whenever I change channels it does not instantly show the program title. It says something like gathering program info and then comes up after about 5 seconds.
Also happens when you press the TV guide button it does not list all programs, it slowly scrolls through the list slowly populating the fields.
I used to have this problem once a month or so and a reboot of the box always fixed it for another 30 days or so, but reboots are currently only fixing it for 1-2 days at the moment......Any idea's ?
UPDATE - Spoken to some colleagues at work who report the same thing ? Whats the go ?
Anybody got any idea's ?

Note to Foxtel --- Fix it ya bums ----
yep same here
Same here... EPG often up the shit and picture freezes for a couple seconds, maybe once or twice a day.
Same here
My guess is that they have done a firmware update and the task that builds the EPG is a lower priority than previously.
So there won't be an improvement unless there is another upgrade.
I agree, it is a pain in the bum. Waiting, waiting, waiting.....

Same issue...
Recently had fox installed in new house... I thought this issue was because the foxtel guy used diplexers to get the satellite signal using the antenna cable...
Now it makes more sense...
Same on cable.
Bring on a firmware upgrade! (or downgrade lol)
