Pay lots of tax
OK so I'm selling plenty of stuff on ebay, and I'm thinking about getting an ABN, just so I can develop a relationship with certain wholesale suppliers.
So can I......
Buy groceries at wholesale prices? Such as Campbells Cash & Carry.
Buy Wholesale software?
Buy Wholesale electronic goods?
etc?
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Globe

Pay lots of tax
When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all
You can instantly get a 10% discount on everything the business buys.
The GST is fully refundable.
But when you sell you pay the GST on the marked up price, so the theory is they get more than they give.
But we all know better....
To get your trade prices as they used to be called you don't
need a ABN you need to have friends, evreywhwere
When you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all
If you advertise your business...the wholesalers' cold call team will ferrett you out.
So whats the number we can try it out for ya.
You can deal with people that only sell to trade as well. You can get 10 to 30% off. Pedders used to offer substaial savings if you walked in there with a company PO and greasy jeans.
