    ya have too spoof the liteon drive and replace with samsung/benq/hitachi

    ok cwispy i will try tonite.

    ok when i run dosflash it cannot detect the firmware. I have switched the switch into the on position.hmmmm

    OMG you surely did not follow those instructions....!!

    You don't need to use a switch at all.

    You just run dosflash....wait till it asks if you want to keep sending instructions till the drive responds...then you power cycle the drive and it pops up.

    No hardware/track cutting/switching needed at all......thats the OLD way....u do no even need to open the drive...

    DOH.... i should've done more reading in the xbox-scene forum.
