A wireless card would probably be easiest if I am reading your setup correctly. Install it in your PC in your shed and it will communicate with your wireless router. Something similar to the picture below should do the job :

    It is called bridge mode.
They will act as a two way repeater.
The routers appear to each other as if there was a cable between them.

The wireless card connects wirelessly to your modem/router setup. Instructions would be in or on the box. I have used one before , they are pretty simple to setup.

Just make sure wireless is turned on in your routers settings. On your sheds computer connect to the wireless network via windows or the software that came with the card.

Robs suggestion may also be worth looking at , I havent tried it myself.

Buy a couple of Asus WL-520GC routers ($40 each)
and flash them with the DD-WRT firmware. You can then connect them in client mode or bridged mode. They can do anything a fancy linksys can do for 1/3 of the price.
    DM500s Black with rear on/off switch $99 inc post , DM800 sim 82 $250 inc post, DM800SE $310 inc

How far is your shed from your router and how many walls in between? I had a spare PC with wireless card in the shed and wireless router 20 metres away inside house - going through 3 walls - no signal. (wireless g mind you). Ended up running cable.

Can you check signal strength in shed before buying wireless card?

I have a tenda w541r router a dlink dir 300 router and a wireless card now the problem I am having is that I am sharing the wireless on one computer in my shed that then outputs the net to my server and my old p4 pc.

In my house i can see the Compaq that is in the shed sharing the net but not my server or p4 pc so I thought of 2 ways i think i can do it. Bridge the two routers so the one in the shed gets net off the one in the house or see if i can get the routers not to bridge and just see if i can get the one in the house to receive the one in the shed so I can see my server and p4 pc and the router in the shed.

Does this sound like its possible to do guys ? I dont know what is a easy way to do this, all i want is that I can see my server and my p4 pc in the shed from the house and i think i would like to bridge the routers but is this going to be hard?

Does your keyboard have punctuation keys? Full stop or comma?

Would be great if you could use them, would make reading your posts a little easier, not that I can decipher
    some of your sentences.

I just bought an Asus WL-520GU to replace a netcomm NB504 because when I had service call due to a problem with the Satelitte internet, the Teck said the NB504 was too slow at 54mbps and it could be reducing my data flow, apart from water in the cable and an incorrectly registered modem.
I bought the Asus as it was advertised as a 128 mbps but the info on the side of the box and the godawefull handbook suggests to me its only a 54mbps.
So is it a 125 mbps or not?
I read that bit about it being able to act as a repeater or extender but untill I saw this posting I wasnt sure what that was all about.
