Logging with Dm500 and IRD_LogExtract

I have been logging for over 2 days and have captured a fair bit of data.
I was trying to locate a hsn in the C3 and CB log files.
I can only find a short line in the C3 file, I have noticed other hsn's (ones very close to the one I am looking for) with a lot more data.
I am wondering whether the hsn has been killed off, or should I be logging for longer?

4 hours should pretty much be enough for emks on C1.

i have a humax 5400z +cam. which of the two would run better with it, emk logger or IRD_LogExtract.

My machines is still logging.
Just had a look at the new log files and the hsn is skipped but every other hsn around it is there.
Might try EMK logger now, just for a bit of a muck around.

Can a hsn and a provid be changed?

seems to be determined by the card but I may be wrong.

there have been quiet a few hsn killed in the last few days, also can take 3-4hr for you hsn to show up

If your talking whitey then your local seller will put a new file on the card with a different hsn and prov id. I don't know of anyone claiming to have done it themselves.

You can find the programs in the "As promised" thread by streeter75, try the search link.

Hmmm, as far as FAQ's and documents are concerned, this whole satellite section of the forum has all that you need, I guess its just a matter of filtering through ALL the posts until you find the relevant info, plus a lot of trial and error.

Beware, the progs don't come with a user manual, unless you are familiar with them, you will be lost.
