Engin Caller ID

Can Engin caller ID be turned off.
So callers dont know who's calling??

Edit: Have Linksys WRT54GP2 wireless router.
Need ID Turned off from router not the attached device!

I think you can if you log in to your account on the Engin home page.

in a few cases, VoIP providers may allow a caller to spoof the caller ID information, potentially making calls appear as though they are from a number that does not belong to the caller

i use pennytel
have callerid setup as a mobile prepay number
so i they want to ring me back they can
if i dont want them to i just turn it off

When making a call, your phone number is sent to the phone of the person you are dialing. You can control sending your phone number by either blocking your number for all calls or on a call-by-call basis, excluding Engin to Engin calls.
