    is an lnb that has two outlets is used when there is more than one decoder in the house so they can watch different channels which could be on different polorisations at the same time

    eg: tv1 = horizontal
    box office = vertical

    now if you had a single lnb then you could not watch each channel at the same time on seperate units
    dont say linux if i wanted it id install it
