True but the RSL has a good evening meal which is handy since we deliver fuel to the servo next to it right on dinner time

Be interested in how you propose to make a pda phone out of bits
I have a PDA and an old phone and a roll of duct tape

Why not to make this thread a sticky?
This is where people can share their PDA DIY marvelous ideas. It will be interesting to follow some projects.
For example one helps you to protect your asset.

Ok well I've been working hard on this
but it's only a "work in progress" model
extras may include a full 5.1 suround sound amp and speakers system including 10 inch campact sub(unless the kids notice it missing from their room)

using superior Motorola phone technology for 3G network(phone may need to be upgraded to actually access the 3G network)

Sharp PPC(for watching your favourite movie on large screen) running
    winCE-5
and the latest Garmin GPS with sat image mapping

the phone to PPC interface needs some work though as does the phone mounting system(clag glue tends to come unstuck after a few minor bumps)

The GPS mount is very robust, consisting of a steel rod inserted into the stylus slot and the mounting holes on the GPS, this allows for tilting of the GPS screen for the optimum viewing angle

pre Release orders can be placed here
