    Default VLC FrontEnd?

Just wondering who uses this plugin and what versions (PC & plugin) you use and what issues if any you have?

When i try to pause/fast forward/rewind (usually takes a couple of goes) I suffer sync and then crashes with errors along the lines of "unable to send commands" or it stutters and then skips to the next playable avi file in the folder...

I'm wondering if there are VLC versions that work better together.
    VLC 8.6d
    VLCF 1.3.0
    Dm7020 with PLIioLite & Gemini 4.2
    PC is a core2duo

    Cheers, RHCP.

I'm using Gem 4.2 with the 0.2.3 plugin with ver 0.8.1 player and it generally works but still a little flakey. I tried 8.6d and earlier. 8.6a,b and c should work but d doesn't. It only gave sound but didn't crash like the a,b and c versions.

    probably not any better combination.

I found that fast forward/rewind is dodgy via dream remote.

If you have a pc handy you can connect to the server hosting VLC via a web browser (on whatever port you installed it) and then you can use the web browser to do the fast forward/rewind etc and that seems to work a bit better.
