Default SCTV Newcastle testing . .

SCTV Newcastle, (and presumably other regions) are showing Sydney/Capital City 'TEN HD' on the SCTV HD channel, now when the program goes to an ad break, the SCTV Demonstration loop is shown.

In time, and once the service starts officially, (for Newcastle early 2009) the demonstration loop will be replaced by localised ads.

Atm, the SCTV Newcastle feed of TEN HD looks kinda grainy, the SD TEN channel is clearer, but - it is testing time afterall.

Remember too, that TEN HD is to be replaced by the Tens 'ONE-HD' Sport channel.

    Thanks for the info Keepleft,

I have noticed that Prime HD Newcastle area is broadcasting 7 HD at various times in the day also, after lunch to about 4.30pm & then at night sometimes when there is different programing to the seven network feed channel,

but prime HD carries Seven HD adds when being broadcast

Yes BamBam tis Sugarloaf, should also apply for the local tranlators such as Mereweather and Kotara I think they are.

Re LP and C band discussion - 'yes', a nice band to have if you want the ability to view dramatic world news events via 'feeds', and for international broadcasters.
