    Default DVD Shrink error

Hi all, just built a new desktop pc, and was trying to copy a few dvd's using
DVD Shrink 3.2 and was getting a "cyclic redundancy" error, after clicking on open dvd, I never got this while using the old pc....I'm running default settings on the program.

thanks in advance if you can help

That is an error that is common with some DVDs that have copy protection on them. You need anydvd, you should find it using google.
Also seen if the dvd is damaged, more than likely the first problem..

    Cheers

I have had the same error. DVD shrink is a good program but because it no longer gets updated it can't handle the new protections. I now use cloneDvd2 with anydvd and have no problems.

Am a bit late with this reply but I use "RipIt4Me" and "FixVTS" with DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter and have never had a problem with copying.
They all work with one another.

You've probably found a solution by now but hey better late than never.
