Mobile for Fax?

Is it possible to use a mobile phone as a fax when connected to a PC/Laptop?
I got rid of my landline and just wondering if there's a way to do this.

Yes you can but you have to subscribe to the service from your mobile phone provider and It's not available on prepaid. They setup a second telephone number up on your sim card for the fax side of things

or you can subscribe to those paid email where you get a voice box and fax as well.

I started using mBox when my fax died, it's a great service especially if you travel.
When in the office though I am going to get a cheap fax m/c for outgoing as it can be a pain scanning documents and sending via mbox website.
Apparently you can fax direct from MS Word using mBox but I haven't got it working
