Default Where to buy blank cards

    Hi all

I wanted to play around with the public gam but cant seem to find blank cards on the net,

iv googled AT90SC7272C and nothing, (except gamma card 1.4 for sale, useless!) i was thinking of getting an equivilant card but im unsure where to get it from or what card to get.????????????

Also i would like to mention how sad it is that blank card sat equipment sellers try to palm off white cards as if they will do the job but clearly they dont have the balls to do the job,

and before all the deconstructive people out there flame me i know it is a waste of time as i wont get a working card... i want to play around!!!!!

ebay seem to only have 1.4os gamma's. Quantronics.com.au used to sell them. They may be able to point you in the right direction.

To be honest, in my humble opinion, there is no point in buying either gammas or blank AT90SC7272's.

Maybe if you have a reason to put Daytona, Anaconda or Minerva OS on a 7272 it might be worth getting one, but otherwise there is no point as there is no documentation or tools to enable you to "play".

And there is no point getting a gamma 1.04 because there is, again, nothing that you can do with it other than clean it and reinstall the OS, but what's the point?

I agree agarol, whiteys are crap now and always were false economy.

Austar low definition channels are so awful to watch at the best of times.

bite the bullet and get a foxtel sub with HD, may as well admit they have won....

i have tonnes of files to play with gamma, anaconda, titanium (7272 is overkill for the latter) but i also have the files to start virgin cards, but i really want to get a grasp of working the white cards!!! and when im doing gam 1.4 i can pretend its 12months earlier and get a chubby, just kidding,

but seriously are they still useing 7272's for the latests gammas??????

or are they larger capacity cards??? either way i want to play with the files iv been scrounging up over the last 12 months!!!

also i might add that i had downloaded the all in one gam files back in january from a uk site but it was password locked!! it wasnt untill i found another copy here when it was all over, then i realised what i had, (not that i was able to crack it)

well it seems that buying blank atmel card regardless what type is very painfull, i went through the atmel card list found severall cards that would do the job and guess what???

they are just as hard to acquire as the 7272, so my next q's is where would the sellers get there cards, probably the same people they bought the OS from????

so inconclusion for those people like myself it would be cheaper and easier to make a experimental PCB card to contain all relevent IC,s

    diagram

    and replace the AT90 IC with ATmega128-16AI 40Pin TQFP, 128k x 8 flash, 16MHz
    found here

and the EEPROM of your choice, i wonder if you can partion the EEPROM and or the flash for duel boot???

Hell you could even have duel IC's on the PCB board with a dip switch to switch between OS now where talkin!!!!!

    WTF?

Excuse me, but I reject your assertion that we are all "hungy imbasiles" (your words).

If nobody can solve your problems for you because there is no solution, then maybe the problem is harder than you initially imagined.

The reality is that Pay TV is now secured by military strength encryption that, as far as I know, has only been broken by one group. And they have secured their code using similar strength encryption. So don't blame us for not being able to solve your problem.

And I thought my reply above was an accurate summation of the situation, and a truthful word of advice.

When you set up your website, please let us know the address so we can all observe your successes (or failures). Good luck - there have been many others before you try and then fail.
