a silly user question regarding LMedit!
iv just burned the HMK etc using LMedit along with the EMK which i got from useing the calculator in FMcard!
what i was wondering is when the burn is complete does the EMK dissapear after the burn ???? and is LMedit capable of reading the EMK????
what i mean by dissapear is that its not visable in the EMK section of LMedit!

you need the emk to calculate the pmk
its the pmk you need to give you pk and pic's
the hmk pmk hsn and pid stay on the card you should be able to read them back with lmedit
sorry guys my Q wasnt that clear i did put in the EMK then i burnt but after the burn the EMK dissapeared from where i placed it in LMedit
is that normal or should the EMK be still there after the burn???? (on the screen)
Just got a few terms wrong I think your Goldie (if it was in the box at the time) would have received an EMK (680D nano), thus changing the the PMK and possibly the Provid.............
So you should be able to find the new PMK for your details from your Goldie.......LMedit or such will allow you to see it easily.
Now to get your card running again............it does depend a little on the version, but basically what you do is send the card an EMK command (the same as what has happen over the air) via a phoenix programmer.
So if you have the HMK, the new PMK, the Provid you can calc the EMK, (you could just get the EMK from a logger of course) and the sig...........FM card has all the stuff you'll need.
