    Default Irdeto/Freecams + Gamma

I have an eMTech eM-200 running with an Irdeto Cam Soft Ver. 2.21A P/N 901275 & a Irdeto Freecam 2-019 P/N 901633. Will either of these cams work in the eMTech eM-200 to read a gamma or will they work in another STB? Maybe the Strong 4654x? Whats it like?

I would expect the 2.06B would fucntion, although they don't with genuine Austar etc sub cards. This cam can be freecammed to v2.20 I'd do so for greater reliability/usability.

Your existing freecam 2.019 is best updated to v2.20. It may well still function with your white, emu to off.

Genuine Purple (bearing file Rev 1.11003b) cams are 'okay' for genuine card stuff for single provider, but are 'naggy', what with frequent pop-up 'bitch windows', hopeless- if you view more than one service. Here, they bitch each time you change from one provider (FTA or not) and back to another.

Means more pressing of say the remotes OK or EXIT button!

    Yay for freecams I say.

    keepleft,

purple cam working perfectly with 2 cards in the slot/cam of opentel ods4000ci with either aurora goldie or whitey in the cam . no nags, quick change of provider. both cards update in either cam or slot (obviously only 1 at a time).

probably works properly because opentel is a genuine irdeto box and sends correct message to cam saying card in slot is descrambling signal. havent tried 2 cams yet....

opentel in green box, not later model......

btw, whitey runs very cool in slot, bit warmer in cam.

    Default Jtagged box + whitey

How about a Jtagged A*Box, would that work to get pix on whitey?
